Hunter Yurachek, vice chancellor and director of Athletics at the University of Arkansas, will be joining the Little Rock Touchdown Club this Monday, Sept. 19, for the weekly meeting.
Yurachek has been partially attributed to the success of Razorback athletics since he was announced as the vice chancellor and director in December 2017. With a program-wide strategic plan, Yurachek focuses on fostering student-athlete success, building champions and creating Razorbacks for life, according to the University of Arkansas.
In his leadership roles, Yurachek has been on the NCAA Football Oversight Committee, the NCAA Football Competition Committee, built the first NCAA championship-winning women’s cross country team, the first SEC title in soccer, SEC Championships in men’s and women’s indoor track & field and much more.
The Little Rock Touchdown Club meets at 11:40 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel in Downtown Little Rock. Doors will open at 11 a.m.
