Adena White will be overseeing production of the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce’s publications.
White has been named editor of Conway Publications, which produces the montly North Metro Business Journal and Conway+, an annual guide to the Conway area touching on local economics, arts and culture, real estate, education and more.
The Conway Area Chamber of Commerce is also partnering with Blackbelt Media, which White founded and for which she serves as chief storyteller. Blackbelt Media produces the Blackbelt Voices podcast, which highlights Black stories and histories in the American South. The partnership is aimed at highlighting Conway’s diverse business community.
“A lot of times, the big, social changes happen at home and, right now, there are so many opportunities to tell stories and make a difference in the community,” White said in a statement. “In the decade I have spent at the Chamber, I have always seen the potential we have to uplift and empower these communities that play such a vital role in a city like Conway.”
White previously served as the director of communications for Conway Publications. Lee Hogan will be succeeding White in this role. Hogan will serve as the communications and public relations lead for the Conway Chamber and partner organization, the chamber’s primary writer and its social media manager.
