The Promenade at Chenal in Little Rock houses various shops and restaurants, as well as the AMC Chenal 9 Movie Theater. The shopping center is designed in a French Gothic style, ” replicating a nostalgic Main Street shopping district,” making a stroll through it rather enjoyable.
The Promenade has become a popular place for both locals and tourists. Bethany Seims with the Promenade office confirms that a hotel is being built near the Promenade. The hotel, however, is not on Promenade property and is not owned by the Promenade. It will be a boutique style hotel from the Aloft Hotel chain and it will be a great addition to the Chenal area.

Various tenants have moved in and out of the location over the years, and Del Frisco’s recent closing leaves a vacancy. It’s been rumored that a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse may be moving in. Ruth’s steakhouse began in New Orleans in 1965, and today, it is a steakhouse leader on the global scale. A Little Rock location has been rumored in the past, and is highly anticipated.
Bethany Seims said she could not confirm rumors, adding that the Promenade is working on a tenant replacement for the building.
