Mangan Holcomb Partners/Team SI is partnering with the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas (WFA) to provide pro-bono marketing services for recent grant recipients.
As part of the organizations’ partnership, MHP/Team SI will offer personalized training and counseling. The transdigital agency will also provide webinars focused on marketing and best practices.
“We are excited about this strategic outreach initiative for the ladies of MHP/Team SI to have a direct impact as women in business on women-owned in businesses,” said MHP/Team SI president and CEO Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl said in a statement. “Our agency is full of talented women who are eager to share their skills with these grant recipients and help them better market themselves and their businesses. It is an honor to partner with the WFA as they continue to support women and girls in Arkansas.”
During 2020, the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas has provided grants for numerous women-owned businesses in the state. Starting in April, the foundation opened applications for $5,000 grants aimed at helping women-owned businesses navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
The WFA made 10 grants available in a first round of funding with six grants available in the second round.
“In Arkansas, more women own businesses than men, but often receive less support,” WFA executive director Anna Beth Gorman said. “When we surveyed grant applicants and recipients, the data showed that women in business list marketing support as their number one need. MHP/Team SI’s expertise is invaluable to enhance our ability to equip these women-owned businesses for success.”
