Washington Regional Medical System has appointed a new vice president and chief information officer.
Jim Daly will be taking over the role, succeeding Becky Magee, who has served as senior vice president and chief information officer. Magee is set to retire at the end of July 2020.
In his new role, Daly will head up Washington Regional’s “information services, information security, communications/PBX and biomedical,” as well as “day-to-day leadership and strategic vision” for the health system, according to a news release. Most recently, Daily has served as director of information services, a role he has held since 2017.
Daily holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance and economics from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock as well as a Master of Business Administration and Healthcare Administration from the University of Arkansas.
