Tyson Foods Inc. is recalling 132,520 pounds of chicken nuggets that may be contaminated with hard plastic, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said Tuesday. The Pine Bluff food manufacturer first learned of the problem after receiving complaints about foreign material contamination of the chicken nuggets.
The products being pulled are Tyson’s Fully Cooked Panko Chicken Nuggets with a best-if-used-by date of July 18, 2017 and a case code of 2006SDL03 or 2006SDL33, and 20-pound packages of Spare Time Fully Cooked Panko Chicken Nuggets that have a case code of 2006DL03
