Tyson Foods CFO John R. Tyson was arrested Sunday for public intoxication and trespassing after letting himself into a stranger’s house and falling asleep in her bed.
According to the arrest report, 32-year-old Tyson was found asleep at 2 a.m. Sunday in a woman’s bed. Police attempted to wake him up and speak with him, but he was reportedly unable to verbally respond.
Tyson was booked early Sunday and released later that evening, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
In 2019, Tyson joined the executive team at Tyson Foods. He was appointed as chief financial officer in September.
According to Tyson Foods’ website, he is also a member of the enterprise leadership team, and reports directly to President and CEO Donnie King.
Tyson is a fourth-generation member of the Tyson family.
