President Donald Trump is expected to easily sweep Super Tuesday in Arkansas.
While voting is still being reported, Trump has an overwhelming majority of the votes counted so far. Of the 21 percent of votes reported, Trump has captured 96.8 percent according to the Associated Press.
Trump has received 110,726 reported votes as of 9 p.m.
His closest competitor is former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld who has received 2,759 votes, or 2.4 percent of the total. A third candidate, Roque De La Fuente, has received only 0.8 percent of the vote, or 925 votes so far.
The New York Times live election results corroborate the AP’s results. According to the Times’ live results page, 760 voting precincts, out of 2,615, have reported their results. At 9:09 p.m., the Times updated to reflect that Trump had received 118,279 votes, compared to 3,013 for Weld and 1,019 for De La Fuente.
The outcome is largely expected, with pundits in the lead-up to Super Tuesday, expecting a blow-out for Trump on Super Tuesday.
