Trex Company, the decking and outdoor products manufacturer that moved into Little Rock last fall, has launched a hiring campaign to begin filling 500 new jobs in Central Arkansas. In October, Trex announced an estimated $400-million investment to develop its multifaceted production site at the Port of Little Rock to meet growing demand.
According to the company, initial open positions are at the management level and will broaden as development of the new facility progresses.
Current openings at the Trex Little Rock facility include:
- Site Manager
- HR Manager
- Process Engineering Manager
- Project Engineering Manager
Trex utilizes recycled polyethylene plastic film and reclaimed wood waste to create quality, low-maintenance composite products for the commercial and residential building markets. The company’s local expansion represents a considerable investment and increased value for Central Arkansas. The facility will begin construction this year with product production expected to begin in 2024.
