Torchy’s Tacos is bringing its popular sauces to customers in Northwest Arkansas.
The Austin, Texas-based taco restaurant will be making its Green Chile Queso and Diablo Sauce available to customers at select Whole Foods in Arkansas, as well as in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Starting Sept. 15, Arkansas customers can find the sauces in Whole Foods in the Rogers and Fayetteville area, according to a spokesperson.
This marks the first time that Torchy’s Diablo Sauce has been available in retail stores.
“I started Torchy’s Tacos in 2006 as a food trailer and would ride around town on my red Vespa, inviting people to swing by to try our creative take on tacos and addictive queso,” Torchy’s Tacos founder Mike Rypka said in a statement. “In those early days, our Green Chile Queso became our calling card – when guests would try our tacos and queso, we’d often hear, ‘That’s damn good!’ It’s been a fan favorite ever since. To see our Green Chile Queso and Diablo Sauce hit the shelves at Whole Foods, another hometown Austin brand, is incredibly exciting, and we can’t wait for fans to enjoy at home.”
Torchy’s’ Tacos currently has two locations in Arkansas. Both are in Northwest Arkansas in Fayetteville (1541 MLK Jr. Blvd.) and Rogers (4950 West Pauline Whitaker Parkway). The company also has restaurant locations in Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
