Mayor Frank Scott Jr. confirmed Wednesday that Topgolf plans to bring its technology-enabled golf experience to Little Rock. Topgolf is a sports entertainment complex that features an inclusive, high-tech golf game complete with food and drinks and space for parties and events. The company has locations nationwide, and the new venue would be Topgolf’s second location in the state of Arkansas.
“We are thrilled to be bringing Topgolf to the capital of Arkansas and planning to join this vibrant community,” said Topgolf Chief Development Officer Chris Callaway. “As we look to expand the Topgolf experience in the state, Little Rock is the perfect place to do it.”
Representatives said the multi-level venue will be located within the Little Rock city limits and beyond entertainment, the new Topgolf venue would create approximately 300 full- and part-time jobs upon opening.
“It’s been a goal of mine to bring Topgolf to Little Rock since I first reached out to the company on Twitter in 2018,” said Mayor Scott. “This popular golf and entertainment venue is a welcome addition to our community, and its selection of our city demonstrates that Little Rock is a great place to live, work and play. Topgolf will bring hundreds of jobs to Little Rock, and it joins a long list of economic development projects that have improved our quality of life and place over the last three years.”
Topgolf opened its first Arkansas location in Rogers on May 25, 2021. The Topgolf Live stadium tour is coming to Fayetteville’s Razorback Stadium this spring, May 5-8. Topgolf Live is an immersive experience where players can enjoy a unique game of golf inside fan-favorite stadiums.
The sports entertainment venue recently announced a long-awaited expansion into nearby Memphis, Tenn. as well. An opening date for the Little Rock location has not yet been revealed.
