Central Arkansas insurance agency the River Company has acquired Roy N. Borden Agency.
This acquisition will expand the River Company’s offices to five, with two in Little Rock and one in Clinton, Heber Springs and Mountain View. According to a news release, the acquisition was the latest phase in the insurance agency’s expansion efforts, along with adding payroll services in 2020.
The River Company president Matt Stewart said that the Roy N. Borden Agency would be a valued asset in delivering services to the Little Rock area.
“The addition of the Roy N. Borden Agency will improve on our customer service in Little Rock by creating a larger presence in the city,” Stewart said in a statement. “Customers of both agencies will benefit from the shared ideas and experiences of our combined staff.”
The Roy N. Borden Agency, located at 300 S. Rodney Parham Rd. Suite 16, was established in 1947. According to its website, the agency offers a range of services, including auto, business, health, home, life and pet insurance.
This office will be rebranded as a River Company office starting March 1, 2021.
