Summit Utilities Arkansas (Summit) is supporting the Watershed Human and Community Development Agency of Little Rock and the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance with $15,000 donations. The donations will help fund the Watershed’s Holiday Food and Toy Basket Drive and the Hunger Alliance’s No Kid Hungry Campaign.
In addition to the $15,000, Summit also donated approximately $2,000 worth of non-perishable food items in support of the Arkansas Food Bank’s Holiday Food Drive.
“Summit is dedicated to stepping up and helping our community whenever possible,” said Kurt Adams, CEO of Summit. “We understand families in Arkansas aren’t immune to the rising cost of living. We are grateful that we can support the agencies that serve our communities.”
In addition to supporting community causes, Summit also provides members of its team with up to 20 hours of paid time off each year to volunteer in the communities it serves.
