The Mid-America Science Museum in Hot Springs recently announced the appointment of Suzanne Steed to its Board of Trustees for the 2022-2024 term.
Steed is a Client Executive with Transamerica in Hot Springs and holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.
“We are thrilled to have Suzanne join the board to share her skills and knowledge with her fellow Trustees and the Museum staff,” Museum Executive Director Diane LaFollette said. “I am excited to work with Suzanne as she becomes involved in and more familiar with her work on the board,” she added. “I know her contributions to the board will be valuable and impactful.”
The mission of Mid-America Science Museum is to stimulate interest in science, to promote public understanding of the sciences and to encourage lifelong science education through interactive exhibits and programs. The Museum promotes hands-on science learning and has been a resource for innovative STEM education since its opening in 1979.
