The Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/Associated Industries of Arkansas PAC has shared a list of candidates the organization supports on the state level. ASCC/AIA is a leading voice of business at the state capitol and serves as a primary business advocate on issues affecting Arkansas employers.
The State Chamber Political Action Committee (ASCC PAC) serves as a vehicle to help communicate the business community’s goal of economic prosperity in Arkansas to those running for, and currently holding political office.
The Committee released its selection of candidates that “will be the best champions for business in Arkansas” while encouraging Arkansans to vote early ahead of the May 24, 2022 primary elections.
“Electing pro-business leaders into office helps us promote a pro-business, free-enterprise agenda and prevent anti-business legislation, regulations and rules,” organization representatives stated.
The ASCC PAC voiced support for Sarah Huckabee Sanders for governor of Arkansas; Leslie Rutledge for lieutenant governor; and Tim Griffin for attorney general, among others. See the full list of the organizations candidates of choice below:
