Little Rock-based Smiley Technologies, Inc. has revealed a new logo and rebrand just in time for the company’s 20th anniversary.
Smiley Technologies, Inc., founded in 2002, provides core/digital software solutions and services to community banks nationwide. Twenty years ago, President and CEO Elizabeth Glasbrenner and her brother Vance Smiley, a current board member, set out to change the core banking industry. Twenty years later, Smiley continues to nurture its partner bank relationships with reliable technology and customer service.
Along with a new logo and rebrand, Smiley’s leaders said the company is embarking on a new decade with fresh goals for recruiting new bank partnerships, adding new team members, and achieve steady and strategic growth by maintaining the service for which the company is known.
According to company leaders, the new logo’s deep blue “symbolizes authority and integrity” while the electric blue “reflects the energy Smiley brings to serving its partner banks.” The [lowercase] ‘smiley’- as opposed to ‘Smiley’- serves as a reminder that the company does not stand ahead of its partners, they explained, as “Smiley is right there next to them every step of the way.”
“When my brother and I founded this company twenty years ago, our goal was not to become the biggest in the industry, but to be the best, said Glassbrenner. “We are confident about our future and our sustained vision of being community banks’ technology partner of choice.”
