Simmons Bank is launching a new business division focusing on data, with Lisa Hunter at the helm.
Hunter will serve as the executive vice president and chief data officer for Simmons Bank’s Data Office, which will oversee and standardize the bank’s data, encourage data competencies and improve customer experiences.
Most recently, Hunter served as the executive vice president of operations for Simmons Bank, managing all bank operations, including deposits, digital capabilities and loans. She has also held roles in the bank’s information technology, accounting and retail divisions.
“Throughout the years, Lisa has innovatively led her team to improve and refine the customer and associate experience at Simmons Bank,” Bob Fehlman, chief financial officer and chief operations officer for Simmons Bank, said in a statement. “Asking her to lead the new Data Office business unit is a natural fit. Her expertise will continue to propel Simmons Bank into the next phase of growth to better serve our customers.”
Hunter has spent more than 20 years at Simmons Bank. She began her career at Premier Bank in Baton Rouge, La. as an internal auditor.
