Simmons First National Corporation has named a new member to its board of directors.
Julie Stackhouse has been appointed to sit on the Pine Bluff-based corporation’s board. She will also sit on the board of Simmons Bank, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the corporation.
“We are thrilled to welcome Julie to our organization,” Simmons chairman and CEO George A. Makris, Jr. said in a statement. “Julie brings incredible insight and a tremendous understanding of our industry from her many years of working with financial institutions, and I am confident that she will be a valuable contributor as a member of our board.”
Stackhouse previously served as an executive vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Stackhouse’s LinkedIn profile lists her as retired.
