Solar power is a rapidly growing sector in Arkansas, with an increasing number of solar projects popping up across the state. One of the companies that is fueling that growth, Seal, Solar, is ramping up to keep pace with the industry growth.
The company has promoted two of its employees while adding multiple individuals to its team. In the process, the firm has virtually doubled its workforce.
Stefan Booy has been named chief operating officer for Seal Solar, while Cody Wilson has been promoted to vice president of design and engineering. Booy previously served as vice president of operations while Wilson was the firm’s solar project manager.
“Seal Solar is leading the charge on solar adoption in Arkansas,” Heather Nelson, co-founder and president, said in a statement “We needed to add breadth to our leadership team, and Stefan and Cody were the perfect fits. With their vast experience, we look forward to helping even more Arkansans gain control over their energy costs.”
In addition, Seal Solar has hired 14 new employees. Two of those hires are for vice president positions – Tyler Hall and Cooper Wade will oversee finance and project management, respectively.
Tyler Bradley has been named a solar consultant, and Yashpal Vayas has been hired as an electrical engineer. Seal Solar has also hired Caleb Snuggs, account manager; Matthew Plummer, client care manager; Samuel Kaeppel, apprentice electrician.
Seven of the new hires will serve as crew associates. These associates include Colby Floyd, DeAndre Frye, David Jones, Abdoulie Krubally, Dan Moore, James Riggins and Ozioma Whittaker.
