Cushman & Wakefield/Sage Partners hosted a ribbon cutting event Thursday, celebrating the completion of nearly $4 million in improvements to the iconic Doctors Building located in the heart of Little Rock on S. University Ave. The event featured special guest speakers, including Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott, Jr., James Reddish, executive vice president of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, Brad Henry, managing partner of Natural Capital, and Marshall Saviers, CEO of Cushman & Wakefield | Sage Partners.
Cushman & Wakefield/Sage Partners is a locally owned and operated, full-service commercial real estate firm with offices in Northwest and Central Arkansas. Sage Partners currently manages and markets more than 6.5 million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties across the state.
Purchased by Natural Capital two years ago, the building has undergone significant improvements despite the ongoing pandemic. The building is leased and managed by Sage Partners. “This historic building, in the heart of Little Rock is now better prepared to serve existing medical clients and expand medical facilities in central Arkansas,” said Betty Donovan, Sage Partners & Doctors Building property manager for more than 30 years. The project includes a new main entrance, exterior paint, improvements to the parking lot and deck, new lighting, main floor interior upgrades and new landscaping. The building is also on schedule for continued work on common areas of the upper floors. These improvements were made by the team at VCC who also provided the refreshments for the event.
