Rock Dental Brands, a practice management group based in Little Rock, has acquired nine new clinics in Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee, it announced Wednesday.
The Arkansas clinics are the two locations of Jim Moore Orthodontics in Pine Bluff and Monticello; Arkansas Oral Surgery’s two offices in Conway and Russellville; Dr. Michael Wharton-Palmer, pediatric dentist, in Texarkana; and South Arkansas Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in El Dorado.
The acquisitions were completed in separate transactions over several months in partnership with Rock Dental’s doctor-owned, affiliated practices, according to a press release. Rock Dental Brands now supports 84 clinics in three states.
Rock Dental CEO Kristi Crum called the addition of the nine clinics a milestone in the company’s mission to expand quality dental care and access.
“Rock Dental Brands is in growth mode. As we continue to expand, our top priority remains bringing the highest standard of patient care and treatment to the communities we serve,” she said in a statement.
The Missouri clinics acquired by Rock Dental are Arquitt Pediatric Dentistry in Springfield and Sherrick Orthodontics in Rolla. Michelle Johnson Orthodontics of Bartlett is the Tennessee clinic.
