Ritter Communications is expanding again, bringing its broadband services to Lonoke in Central Arkansas.
The Jonesboro-based broadband provider is investing $4 million to bring broadband services to Lonoke. Ritter will be offering XGS-PON service, delivering up to 10 gigabits per service of connectivity for business customers.
This is the latest expansion for Ritter, which has steadily expanded its service coverage in the past year. In December 2020, the company announced that it was investing $2.8 million to bring broadband coverage to Pine Bluff businesses. Ritter expanded to Arkadelphia in September 2020 and announced plans to invest $16 million in the Texarkana region. Of this total, $12 million was earmarked for bringing fiber service to Texarkana while $4 million was for building out the local market’s business service.
In 2019, Ritter announced plans to invest $7 million bringing high speed internet to the Hot Springs market.

Businesses in Lonoke will have access to Ritter’s cloud computing capabilities and its new Data Technology Center. Opened in November 2020, the Data Technology Center is a multi-user data and cloud storage facility located in Northeast Arkansas that offers offsite data and IT infrastructure storage.
