The University of Arkansas has announced its 101st season of Razorback baseball, with opening weekend slated for Feb. 17-19.
The Hogs will start their 2023 season with the College Baseball Showdown on Feb. 17-19 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Tx.,Vanderbilt, Mo., and Big 12 teams will also be featured at the showdown.
The showdown has not yet released the rivals against which the Razorbacks will be playing at the showdown, though it has been announced that all games at the 2023 College Baseball Showdown will be streamed on FloSports.
Following the showdown, the Razorbacks will start the 19-game schedule at Baum-Walker stadium. According to the news release, this will mark Arkansas’s longest homestead since 1982 – the year the Hogs played 22 consecutive contests at George Cole Field.
