Pulaski County Election Commissioner Susan Inman announced Friday that she will be stepping down from her position, effective immediately, due to ongoing health concerns.
With the 2022 Primary Election taking place in May and the upcoming decisions concerning voting locations and voting centers within Pulaski County, Inman says that it is important for the Democratic representative to be able to actively participate in these conversations.
In a statement released Friday,The Democratic Party of Pulaski County thanked Inman “for her dedicated and lifelong service to the election process and the protection of voter’s rights”and added that “her years of experience are unmatched and her insights will be sorely missed.”
The Democratic Party of Pulaski County will hold a special meeting May 2 to elect a new Democratic representative to the Pulaski County Board of Election Commissioners. Eligible candidates must be an active member of the Democratic Party of Pulaski County as of April 2, 2022 and submit their name to the Chair for inclusion on the ballot.
