Pulaski Academy football coach Kevin Kelley will be leaving the to take the head coaching role at Presbyterian College.
Known as the “coach who never punts,” Kelley has served as the head coach at Pulaski Academy since 2003. He joined the school in 1997 as an assistant coach.
Kelley has coached Pulaski Academy’s football program to nine state championships and a record of 216-29-1.
Presbyterian College, located in Clinton, South Carolina, is part of the Big South Conference.
He will be taking over for former head coach Tommy Spangler. In April 2021, Presbyterian College announced that Spangler would not be returning and that it was conducting a national search for his replacement.
According to an announcement to Pulaski Academy parents, the school is set to begin a search for a new head football coach and athletic director.
