The Little Rock School Board is moving forward with administrative recommendations to seek voter approval for an additional $300 million dollars in funds.
If approved by voters, this allotment would allow for completion of projects across the school district including the construction of a high school in west Little Rock.
Board member Jeff Wood wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday that a town hall will be held to discuss the $300 million proposal, as well as one of the agenda items — a “new, traditional, 1,500-student high school” in west Little Rock.
Wood shared dates, times and locations for the next two town hall meetings in his post and urged residents to attend.
