Fort Smith will soon be home to Onyx Aesthetics and Wellness, a new luxury medical spa and wellness clinic. Owners Jamie Powers and Julie Rowland are planning to open the 1,600- SF business in Fort Smith’s Chaffee Commons, located at 6210 Massard Rd., Suite 103, on Aug. 1.
“There really isn’t a clinic or spa anywhere in town like ours,” Powers said. “The focus at Onyx revolves around helping patients feel their best, while enhancing their natural beauty. Patients can come into one place and receive multiple treatments without having to go to different professional offices. We are the first of our kind in the area.”
Onyx Aesthetics and Wellness will offer popular medical and beauty treatments, all under one roof. Services provided include:
- Neurotoxins (Botox, Jeuveau and Dysport)
- Dermal Fillers
- VI Peels
- IV Therapy
- BioTe Hormone Replacement Therapy
- Weight Management
- Acne Treatment
- PRP Treatments
- Micro-needling
- ZO Skincare
- Spider Vein Treatment
“We pay particular attention to delivering the best client experience possible,” Rowland said. “This will not be a run-of-the-mill visit, we take a very personalized approach to each client. No matter what brings them through our doors, once they are here, we’re committed to their total comfort and enjoyment as they receive our services.”
Both owners are nurse practitioners, and bring a passion for health and wellness to the new venture. Prior to joining forces to create Onyx, both owners each owned businesses similar to their new venture.
“We both have a background in nursing in general,” Rowland said. “When we first met, we were running competing businesses. One day, we started talking and found out how much we had in common and how similar our goals were. It’s been a partnership made in heaven.”
“Each of us has a high standard for the type of experience we want our clients to have,” Powers said. “We want to offer more than just convenience, we want to be known as a destination for health and beauty throughout the region.”
