A national managed service provider is entering the Arkansas market after acquiring Conway-based Business Network Solutions.
NuMSP announced that it had acquired Business Network Solutions (BNS) as part of its plans to build a “nationwide company with the scale and resources to deliver advanced IT services to SMBs (small and mid-sized businesses)” that will provide the tools these businesses require.
NuMSP offers a range of IT services and solutions, including security, infrastructure, support, strategy, assessments and maintenance. Business Network Solutions provides a similar array of services for small and mid-sized businesses, including network security, IT consulting, cloud computing, backup and disaster recovery, business continuity planning and more.
Founded in 2001, BNS is headed by CEO and founder Jim Hays.

This marks the 14th acquisition for NuMSP.
According to its website, NuMSP has offices in Clifton, New Jersey; Frederick, Maryland; Reston, Va.; Mt. Vernon, Ohio; Chicago, Ill.; Harvey, La.; Eden Prairie, Minn.; Rancho, New Mexico; Sacramento, Calif.; Los Angeles, Calif.; and Boise, Idaho.
