UCA Bears Head Coach Nathan Brown will be joining the Little Rock Touchdown Club this Monday, Oct. 17, for the weekly meeting.
Brown, a Russellville native, became the 20th head coach of the University of Central Arkansas’ football program in December 2017 when he was hired to replace Steve Campbell. To this day, Brown is the most prolific quarterback in UCA history.
He led the Bears to a 6-5 mark in his first season as head coach in 2018. Of the five losses by the Bears, two were by three or less points, including one in overtime. UCA finished 5-4 in Southland Conference play. In Year 2, the Bears finished 9-4 overall and went 7-2 in conference play (co-champions), earning a No. 8 national seeding in the FCS Playoffs and a bye in the first round before hosting Illinois State at First Security Field at Estes Stadium. The playoff appearance was the fifth overall and third in the previous four years.
Tickets to see Nathan Brown speak to the Little Rock Touchdown Club are priced at $30 for members and $40 for non-members. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the program will begin at 11:40 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel in Downtown Little Rock. Tickets can be purchased online.
