Attorney Molly McNulty of Little Rock intends to seek election to the Arkansas Court of Appeals – District 6, Position 1, which includes Pulaski, Saline and Perry counties.
Since 2015, McNulty has served as a law clerk at the Arkansas Court of Appeals for the Honorable Raymond Abramson, where she has gained valuable experience specific to the appellate court system, including writing hundreds of draft opinions and advising on complex legal issues. McNulty has served as an adjunct professor at the UALR Bowen School of Law and began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Joe Volpe, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Arkansas. She is a graduate of the Inaugural Public Service Academy.
“I am running for the Court of Appeals because I want to continue to serve Arkansans in a meaningful way by faithfully upholding the principles of justice under the Constitution and laws of our State,” said McNulty. “My experience working in the appellate court system has prepared me to take on this important role. As judge, I will follow the rule of law and ensure that every Arkansan is treated fairly and impartially.”
McNulty holds leadership positions in a wide range of community organizations across central Arkansas. She is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Arkansas Bar Association and is co-chairing the 125th Annual Arkansas Bar Association Meeting this June. McNulty is the Vice Chair of both the Central Arkansas Library System Foundation Board and the Leadership Greater Little Rock Alumni Board. McNulty also currently sits on the Board of Directors of Camp Aldersgate, the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, the Historic Arkansas Museum Foundation, and is on the Board of Advisors for the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. In addition, she continues to serve her community through her work as an active member of The Rotary Club of Little Rock (Club 99) where she is the Membership Recruitment Chair, and as a sustaining member of the Junior League of Little Rock, where she sits on the Sustainer Board.
