Who runs the world? Find out today at the Venture Center’s Woman-Run group.
Featuring prominent female leaders, Woman-Run provides a unique look at how these leaders are navigating executive leadership. The group provides a forum for professionals at the start of their own career – and even established professionals.
“Today’s women are claiming greater executive leadership roles than ever before, which is a critical effort in eliminating inequality,” Mimi San Pedro, Chief Strategist at The Venture Center, says. “The Venture Center exists to support entrepreneurs and leaders in their journeys, and we are grateful for our partnership with Wright Lindsey & Jennings and Woman-Run as they support women in entrepreneurial roles at all levels.”
On Wednesday, Aug. 7, Maggie Young with Southwest EAP will discuss the stress that comes with being in a leadership role and how to manage it.
Southwest EAP provides employee assistance programs, risk management solutions and consulting services to companies. Since 1978, the company has aimed to increase work performance for clients and decrease liabilities.
Woman-Run will be held Aug. 7, from 5:30-7 p.m., at the Venture Center.
