Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau president and CEO Gretchen Hall has been named board chair for the world’s largest association of destination organizations.
Hall will serve as the board chair of Destinations International for a one-year period. She begins her role on July 1, 2021.
In this role, Hall will be charged with representing the organization at conventions, conferences and events nationwide and worldwide. She currently in the chair-elect on the board’s nine-member executive committee.
“I’m humbled to be one of only six women and first Arkansan to serve in this position over the course of the association’s 107 years,” Hall said in a statement. “The tourism industry represents such a diverse group of people from different walks of life and cultures, and it’s satisfying to see more leadership roles within the industry reflect that.”
Hall joined LRCVB in 2001 and has served as president and CEO since 2011.
