LIVSN Designs has set a crowdfunding record, becoming the most funded Arkansas project on Kickstarter.
For the past month, LIVSN has been crowdfunding for its latest product, a set of sustainably-made pants called the EcoTrek Adventure Pants. Launched on February 2, the Kickstarter campaign has received more than $489,000 in funding and is now listed as the top-funded Arkansas project.
As of Wednesday, March 3 at 6:30 p.m., the LIVSN Kickstarter has received $489,996 from 3,438 backers. There are still 31 hours in the campaign.
The original goal for the campaign was $10,000. At the current backing amount, the campaign has exceeded this goal by 4,898 percent.
“It’s stunning to see so many people come out and support our third Kickstarter campaign. Well over 3,000 people have pre-ordered a pair of Ecotrek pants, allowing us to jump worlds ahead of where we have been before. We’re excited to move production into high gear and fulfill all of these orders this Fall,” LIVSN founder and CEO Andrew Gibbs-Dabney told Arkansas Money & Politics.
This is not LIVSN’s first time in the top Kickstarter rankings for the state. The company’s first two Kickstarter campaigns both rank in the top 12 most funded among projects from Arkansas.
The first LIVSN Kickstarter, which was for its HI-Wool Fleece and Flex Canvas Pants, launched on Sept. 13, 2018 and ultimately was supported by 511 backers who pledged $78,579. This campaign is the 12thmost funded Arkansas campaign on Kickstarter.
LIVSN’s second campaign, for its Flex Canvas Pants V2, received $106,364 from 801 backers. It is the sixth most-funded Arkansas campaign, and it reached its goal in 90 minutes.
