Joe Bailey of Entergy Arkansas has been named board chair of the Little Rock Port Authority and Tamika Edwards of Central Arkansas Water and Keith Harvey of Uniti Group added as new members.
Bailey, who has served on the board since 2012, was voted to chair at the board’s Wednesday meeting. Other new board officers are Vice Chair Bobby Brown of Interstate SignWays and Treasurer Clay McGeorge of Jeffrey Sand Co, a subsidiary of Pine Bluff Sand & Gravel. Edwards and Harvey were sworn in on Wednesday as well.
“Joe Bailey will make an excellent chair of the Little Rock Port Authority Board of Directors,” said Bryan Day, executive director of the Little Rock Port Authority, in a statement. “We are honored to welcome Tamika Edwards and Keith Harvey to our board. As experienced attorneys in various fields, they will bring insightful perspectives. We thank our outgoing Chair Greg Joslin and board member Ray Dillon for their dedication to our community and the port.”
Prior to joining Entergy as senior project manager for Teamwork Arkansas, Bailey served for 10 years as director of business development for the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
