A popular Little Rock media personality is transitioning from broadcast journalism to the corporate world. THV11 news anchor Amanda Jaeger announced Thursday in a social media post that she has accepted a senior management position at Walmart’s corporate headquarters in Bentonville.
In her new role as senior manager of digital strategy and brand engagement, Jaeger will be working in corporate affairs with top international communications professionals.
“I feel overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Truly, I couldn’t have orchestrated all the events that led up to this opportunity. God opened the doors and I’m thrilled to walk through them,” Jaeger wrote in her social media update. “Now, I need all your Northwest Arkansas food and fun recommendations!”
Jaeger, who holds the title of Miss Kansas 2014, was an anchor/reporter for a top Wichita morning news show before joining THV11 in Arkansas. She has a degree in political science and communications from the University of Central Missouri.
