Brandi Keith has been appointed director of operations for the Interprofessional Teaching Center (ITC) at the University of Central Arkansas.
Located in UCA’S new Integrated Health Sciences Building, the ITC is a 10,000-square-foot space that is designed to teach nursing and other health care students to learn and work alongside one another. It features private examination and counseling rooms, a therapy gym and a pediatric therapy room, as well as various classrooms, including one with a teach kitchen.
As the director of operations, Keith will be charged with the administration of clinical services for the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. This includes services and programs provided by the ITC and the Speech-Language-Hearing Center. Keith will develop the “vision and strategic plan” for the ITC, as well as direct the activities at the facility and coordinate outreach operations.
Keith began her role on Tuesday, Feb. 16. She reports to College of Health and Behavioral Sciences dean Nancy Reese.
“We are thrilled to have Ms. Keith as part of our team here in the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences,” Reese said in a statement. “She will be integral to the success of our Interprofessional Teaching Center and to our ability to positively impact the health of Arkansans in this part of the state.”
She previously served in multiple roles at Conway Regional Health Systems for the past five years. Most recently, Keith led Conway Regional’s wellness initiatives.
