Singer-songwriter and mental health advocate Jewel will be visiting Northwest Arkansas this week to speak to students at the Thaden School. She will be speaking to Upper School students at the Thaden School in Bentonville on Thursday, April 21, at 11 a.m.
Jewel Kilcher, better known as just, “Jewel,” is an American singer-songwriter, musician, actress and author. She has received four Grammy Award nominations and, as of 2021, has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. She was raised near Homer, Alaska, where she grew up singing and yodeling as a duo with her father, a local musician.
Jewel supports youth through her nonprofit, Inspiring Children, which helps create learning environments for students to grow and succeed.

She will be in Northwest Arkansas again this July to perform a concert alongside Train at the Walmart AMP.
