An interim director has been named for the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport.
The Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission has tapped Bryan K. Malinowski, C.M. to serve as the interim executive director of the Little Rock airport. Malinowski, 48, will be assuming the vacancy left by Ronald F. Mathieu, the previous executive director.
Arkansas Money & Politics reported on May 16 that Mathieu would be resigning his position as executive director to take the president and CEO position at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. Mathieu’s resignation was official on May 31, and his expected start date at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth is June 17.
Malinowski is an experienced airport official with 27 years of leadership experience. Prior to joining the Clinton National Airport, he served in roles at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, El Paso International Airport and Lehigh Valley International Airport. He joined the Clinton National Airport in 2008 as Deputy Executive Director.
As previously reported, the airport commission will be conducting a nationwide search for Mathieu’s permanent replacement.
