The Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance is hosting its 15th ‘Serving up Solutions’ event on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Albert Pike Masonic Center in Little Rock. Serving Up Solutions features members of the Arkansas Legislative Hunger Caucus serving meals prepared by some of Central Arkansas’ most noted chefs.
Proceeds from the annual fundraising event support the programs of the Hunger Alliance and provide grants to food pantries, food banks and other hunger relief agencies statewide. Emcees for the evening will be Heather Baker and David Bazzel.
Serving up Solutions has grown steadily since its inception in 2007.
“What started as a unique way to raise awareness about hunger among policy makers and the business community has grown into one of the most successful non-profit events in Arkansas,” said Alliance CEO and event co-founder Kathy Webb. “This event brings people together. Legislators actually serve the guests while helping raise funds to address a pressing issue in our state.”
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Serving up Solutions, the Alliance debuted a new event logo created by this year’s presenting sponsor, MHP/Team SI, a full service marketing and advertising agency celebrating its 50th year in business.
Serving Up Solutions 2022 Planning Committee Co-chairs are Sharon Tallach-Vogelpohl and Carl Vogelpohl. Sharon is president & CEO of MHP/Team SI, and her husband Carl is founder and president of Split Rail Consulting, a firm specializing in businesses, associations and political campaigns.
