Amazon announced the two Amazon fulfillment centers in Little Rock and North Little Rock in 2020. The Port of Little Rock fulfillment center, which is located along Zeuber Road in the port, is a 825,000-square-foot facility that is expected to use human and robotic labor to “pick, pack, and ship small items” for Amazon customers, according to a July 2020 Arkansas Money & Politics report.
The Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce reported in July 2020 that the port facility is expected to create more than 1,000 full-time positions.
The North Little Rock fulfillment center, a 1 million square-foot facility designed for picking, packing and shipping larger items, is expected to create more than 500 full-time positions.
