Rep. French Hill has named 10 individuals to his campaign leadership and staff for the 2020 election.
There will be two chairs for the campaign. Judith Goodson will serve as the campaign chair while Warren Stephens will be the finance chair. Goodson is a former teacher who has held multiple community leadership roles, including as a board member for The Call. Stephens is the president and CEO of Stephens, Inc.
Trent Winner will be Hill’s campaign manager. He has previously served as a legislative liaison for Gov. Asa Hutchinson and served on Attorney General’s Leslie Rutledge’s legislative team.
Hill has appointed two individuals to serve in director positions on the campaign team. Amber Crawford will be the political director, and Cathy Lanier will be the finance director. The first vice-chair of the Arkansas Young Republicans, Crawford previously was a policy analyst for Arkansas Secretary of State John Thurston and was a field director for the state’s Republican Party in the 2016 election. Lanier has served as Hill’s finance director since 2014.
Two members of the Gilmore Strategy Group are joining Hill’s campaign team. Jon Gilmore, the president of Gilmore Strategy Group, will serve as a pollster and media consultant, while J.R. Davis, a partner with the firm, will serve as a communications and media consultant. Both are veterans of Hutchinson’s administration with Gilmore serving as his campaign manager in 2014 and as his deputy chief of staff, and Davis served as Hutchinson’s communications director and spokesman.
RJ Caster and Jason McBride will both serve as digital consultants for Hill’s campaign. In addition, McBride will be a mail consultant.Â
Missy Rickels will be the chief administrative manager for the Hill campaign.
