The 30th annual Golf Scramble, chaired by Mike Flagg – Hiland Dairy General Manager – is to be held on Monday, Sept. 26, to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas (RHMCA). Proceeds from the tournament will support the mission of the RHMCA, which is to provide a “home away from home” for the families of critically ill children that are being treated at local hospitals, as well as offering other programs to benefit children’s health.
This year’s Golf Scramble will feature celebrity golfers Joe Klein, Walt Coleman, and Freddy Marshall, and will be held at the Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock. To register a team or sponsor the event, visit GolfScramble.org. The deadline for registration is Sept. 21.
RHMCA has been locally funded and operated and since 1981, has served more than 43,000 families, provided 7,000 children dental treatment and expects to serve over 1,000 families in its Ronald McDonald Room in University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences every year.
