Arkansas Urology invites men to participate in the 16th annual Kickoff to Men’s Health event in observance of National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. The event will be held Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. at 1300 Centerview Drive.
Each participant will receive a free prostate cancer health screening, a prostate exam, and a testosterone exam. There will also be giveaway prizes such as gift cards to local restaurants and retail stores.
Arkansas Urology is working with the Arkansas Department of Health to make sure that all COVID-19 health regulations and guidelines are followed for the event. Upon arrival, participants will remain in their vehicles to be screened for COVID-19 through a temperature check and a questionnaire. Patients will be required to practice social distancing and wearing a mask.
Booths and floor markers will indicate social distancing, and staff will be utilizing appropriate COVID-19 preventative attire.
Men are encouraged to call 501-320-9122 or visit ArkansasUrology.com to schedule an appointment. Screening results may be mailed to participants or specific results from a health care provider may be relayed by phone.
