Specialized Real Estate Group in Fayetteville has promoted Kaitlyn Fondano to Director of Development after working with the company since 2019. In this new role, Fondano is responsible for feasibility, design, entitlements, (zoning, etc.), financing and construction of all of Specialized Real Estate Group’s development projects.
“It is not every day that you get to work with a company that shares your values and prioritizes the importance of healthy homes and communities,” said Fondano. “My first project with Specialized was a service project with Apple Seeds Teaching Farm, the community nonprofit that grows and donates produce to food-insecure children in NWA. From that point on, I knew Specialized walks the walk. The way Specialized intentionally makes place and builds community has a substantial impact on our region and I am looking forward to leading the charge on our next few projects as the Director of Development.”
In addition to her new Director of Development duties, Fondano is managing the building and completion of South Yard, a new three-phased residential and commercial development with a combined project investment of $63 million, located just south of the Fayetteville Public Library. The South Yard project will anchor south Fayetteville and add value to the Northwest Arkansas community.
Originally from Arizona, Fondano holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a master’s degree in Real Estate Development. Before Specialized, Fondano worked at Desert Viking Development in Phoenix.
