Little Rock digital design and development agency Few has hired John Whitman of Bentonville as its new director of strategy.
Whitman’s previous experience includes working with J.B. Hunt Transport and Rockfish/VML. Considered a veteran of the Northwest Arkansas startup ecosystem and tech scene, Whitman participates on numerous local boards and investment groups.
His new role will entail overall strategic planning as it relates to client initiatives and the agency as a whole. Few CEO Zack Hill said Whitman will help clients understand their “big picture” and build a road map to reach it.
“As we grow, it’s important that we not only have talented designers and developers but also leadership with a proven track record of creating digital solutions and leading dynamic teams,” he said.
Few has a national portfolio that includes partners such as Budweiser, IBM, General Electric, Proctor & Gamble and the states of Texas and Vermont. Its Arkansas clients include the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Heifer International, the Central Arkansas Library System, Arkansas State University and the Museum of Discovery.
Whitman said he jumped at the chance to join the Few team.
“In my professional career, I’ve never been more excited to join a team than with Few,” he said. “They’re able to serve both large and small clients with a nimbleness and responsiveness that I appreciate. I look forward to playing a vital role in Few’s growth and leveraging my network to further accelerate what Few has achieved.”
