CDI Contractors Wins Contract for Saline County Career Technical School
Soon, students in and around Saline County will have access to a new career and technical education center, after CDI Contractors of Little Rock won the bid to begin construction on the Saline County Career Technical School.

Producers Rice Mill to Build Largest Commercial Solar Plant in Arkansas
Producers Rice Mill is preparing to build the largest commercial solar array and energy storage facility in the state of Arkansas. Partnering with Scenic Hill Solar, the Stuttgart-based rice mill has announced plans to construct a 26 megawatt solar power plant with up to 40 MWh of energy storage capacity.

Op-Ed: “Hyding” Elections
In pursuit of writing this piece, I searched for a word that could best describe “the act of conveniently changing a set of rules to ensure an election outcome for a particular individual or group of individuals.” A proper noun that starts with a D came to mind, but in the case I’m about to make, I will have to pioneer a new term: we’ll call it “hyding” an election.

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs is preparing to unveil its newly renovated Anthony Childbirth Center. The grand opening for the childbirth center will be held on Monday, Dec. 2, at 10:30 a.m.
As part of the $3.5 million renovation, CHI St. Vincent has added 12 private birthing suites which are designed to keep mothers and their children together through the entire birthing process, from labor to delivery to postpartum and recovery. Read the full story here.
