Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame Adds Six Names in 2020
Six individuals are being inducted into the Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame in 2020.
Three of the inductees are George Tidwell of Lonoke, a former Arkansas State Plant Board chairman; Thomas Vaughns of Marianna, a retired Cooperative Extension Agent; and Gene Woodall, a retired University of Arkansas faculty member.

Task Force Makes Recommendations for War Memorial Park
Some new and exciting plans could be on the horizon for War Memorial Park as the R3LR Parks Task Force has submitted their proposal for the redevelopment of the park to the Little Rock Board of Directors. The three R’s in the task force name represent the goals to revitalize, reimagine, and reinvest.
The R3LR Parks Task force was assigned by Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott Jr. after the golf course was closed in 2019 due to lack of dedicated funding for the Department of Parks and Recreation. Read the full story here.

The Long Run: Henske Defies Diabetes Through Athletics, Technology
There are a lot of inspiring stories of people overcoming diseases and disorders, but few are more impressive than Dr. Joe Henske of UAMS.
Since being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 15, Henske has run competitively at the high school level and for his undergraduate alma mater, Trinity University in San Antonio. Read the full story here.

Former Hog Pat Bradley Forever an Arkansan
It took one visit, and Pat Bradley knew Arkansas had more in common with his hometown of Everett, Mass. than he thought. Pat was on a recruiting visit in September of 1994 and Hogs forward Davor Rimac was charged with taking the young Bradley to the Arkansas/Alabama football game.
Bradley says that sometime during the game, he heard a commotion, and turned around and saw the end of a fight that left a man with an Alabama shirt bleeding from his nose. Read the full story here.
