Cypress Cold Storage has completed a $13 million expansion of its facility in Maumelle.
The temperature-controlled warehouse space features more than 162,000 square feet and is capable of storing more than 18,000 pallets. Cypress Cold Storage is planning to bolster its workforce with 30 new full-time employees at the Maumelle facility.
Founded in 2019, Cypress Cold Storage provides warehouse and other value-added services for the food sector. Over the past two years, the company has completed a capital improvement and expansion program.
“We see a continued demand for temperature-controlled warehouse space and are excited to provide additional capacity to our customers,” Cypress Cold Storage Companies president Michael McAfee said in a statement. “The demand for temperature-controlled warehouse space continues to increase. This expansion will allow us to provide more capacity to our current customers while providing the opportunity to reach out to new ones.”
The company also has a warehouse facility in North Little Rock.
