A new chief executive will be taking the lead at Rock Dental Brands.
Kristi Crum has been named CEO for the Little Rock-based dental group. She will take the role officially on Thursday, July 1, succeeding current CEO Merritt Dake.
“Kristi shares the Dake passion for the Rock Dental mission and has the energy and proven business acumen to sustain – and even accelerate – our growth rate,” Dr. Mark Dake, chief clinical officer at Rock Dental Brands, said in a statement. “We’re excited to have Kristi lead our all-star team and know that under her leadership Rock Dental Brands will continue to expand for years to come.”
Crum joined Rock Dental Brands in 2019 as chief operating officer. The Hendrix College graduate previously held multiple roles at Verizon Wireless, including as regional president, director of retail stores and vice president of corporate strategy.
Merritt Dake, who founded Rock Dental Brands with his father Mark Dake and Dr. Bryan Hiller, will remain on the company’s board and serve as a strategic advisor.
The company has 84 clinics and more than 600 employees, according to a Rock Dental Brands release.
