City Year Little Rock recently welcomed two long-time fundraising professionals to its team: Brittany Paul, director of events and annual gifts, and Marquita Rogers, director of development and external relations. Both will build support for the education nonprofit as it works to help Central Arkansas students achieve their full potential.
“Meeting our mission to help all students succeed requires dedication, hard work and consistent community engagement,” said Jennifer Cobb, senior vice president and executive director. “With their deep expertise in Arkansas’s nonprofit sector, Brittany and Marquita will be invaluable additions to the City Year Little Rock team.”
Paul brings more than a decade of experience in fundraising and event coordination to her new role. She previously worked at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, overseeing and strengthening the donor experience, and at the Arkansas Children’s Foundation. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas.
Throughout her career, Rogers has assisted Arkansas nonprofits and community organizations in serving under-resourced populations. Before City Year Little Rock, she spent more than 10 years at The Summit Church, where she created and managed an inner-city youth outreach ministry. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas.
